Panjab University invites applications for the Summer Internship Program 2025. Selected students at the level of B. Sc. (Second Year/Third Year), M.Sc. (First Year) or equivalent will be able to spend 4-6 weeks at Panjab University during the summer in order to get training on start-ups and research in nanoscience & nanotechnology. The principal objective of the program is to provide exposure to research environment and to motivate students and teachers for launching start-ups.

Important Dates: The summer program will run between June 05, 2025 and July 20, 2025. It will not be viable to accommodate requests for flexibility of pursuing the summer program outside this timeline. Students has to ensure that these dates do not conflict with their other commitments during the Summer Internship Program.

Duration: The minimum period of summer research is four weeks and the maximum period is six weeks.

The Program: Total capacity is 30 and minimum of 25 enrolment is needed to run the program. The Summer Internship Program 2025 will have two components.

(i) Research: A student will be trained for specific scientific research skill (basic) in nanoscience and nanotechnology.

(ii) Training for start-ups: A student will be trained for fundamentals of starting a start-up.

At the end of the summer program, students will have to submit a report about the Summer Internship Program. All students who successfully complete the summer program will receive a certificate from Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Internship Fee: Rs. 2,500/ per candidate. Fee to be paid only after the confirmation of the enrolment.
